Our journey began in 2013 with a shared passion for the timeless charm of vintage typewriters. Together with my husband Jacek, we’ve dedicated ourselves to breathing new life into these iconic literary tools. Nestled in the heart of Southern Spain, near Malaga, our shop stands as Europe’s largest Typewriter Shop. How We Restore Typewriters

Inspection & Evaluation
We begin with a comprehensive inspection to assess the typewriter’s overall condition, including mechanical components, typebars, platen, and other essential parts.
Deep Chemical Cleaning
For typewriters showing signs of wear, we perform a deep chemical cleaning. This involves specialized cleaning solutions to remove rust, grime, old lubricants, from all surfaces.
Replacement of Parts
If the platen is worn or damaged, we decide whether to use an original replacement or a high-quality new platen. For degraded rubber parts we choose between original or 3D-printed.
Repairs & Adjustments
We repair or replace any broken or worn-out mechanical parts, including typebars, levers, gears, cords and other essential components to restore smooth operation.
Cosmetic Restoration
If necessary, we refurbish or repaint the typewriter’s exterior using high-quality car paints s that match the original or new colors. We replace or touch up if need decals & labels.
Reassembly & Testing
After cleaning and repairing, the typewriter is reassembled with precision. We ensure all parts fit correctly and work. We testing it to ensure the typewriter operates properly.
